Marina di Ravenna
Built over a century ago on the Adriatic coast, 11 kilometres north-east of Ravenna, it can be reached along an extension of National Highway 67 (Tuscany-Romagna).
Situated to the south of the canal harbour, it is the main resort on the Riviera of Ravenna and has a long-standing tradition of welcoming tourists with an experienced accommodation system. In fact, Marina di Ravenna has been a tourist destination since the 1930's, when it adopted its current name and urban layout with wide avenues surrounded by greenery, beautiful villas and gardens, hotels and restaurants popular for their fish dishes, thanks to a seafaring tradition that is still alive and well.
The large and safe harbour, with 800 berths, and the wide, sandy beach with modern bathing facilities have made Marina di Ravenna a popular tourist destination. Marina di Ravenna is easily recognisable thanks to its lighthouse, which is both its monument and its symbol.
